New Improved Quick Change Bafflehead for Pantograph

Using state of the art software Lattimer engineers have successfully optimised airflow through to the baffle lock ring reducing finish set time and made significant improvements to the standard design.

The equaliser arm support bracket has been strengthened when compared to the standard unit and the length of contact of the pivot has been increased improving service life and reducing the risk of breakage.

The assembly can be directly interchanged onto a standard Pantograph arm.

New Lockring Design

A long stem pressure plate design is used to ensure stability and positive location onto the baffle during operation.

Carbon contamination is dramatically reduced and air leakage is virtually eliminated due to the “closed cup” design.

The new design enables the use of a “dog-bone” style equaliser arm, this improves the strength of the lockring shaft and eliminates common failure due to fatigue aroung the old style lockring tenon.

A single common lockring style is used for all cavities (TG) reducing inventory.
