Lattimer

Stephen has worked at Lattimer since 1996 and became Managing Director in 1998 when he started to build stronger working relationships between the Lattimer Uk and US factories.

In 2007 Stephen led a Management Buyout of the Group from Hampson Industries PLC and became CEO. It was at this time that the Management Team could really focus Lattimer on the Glass Industry, resulting in a re-branding and dispensing with peripheral non-glass industry machining work. A program of new product introductions followed and Lattimer now enjoys a much higher profile within the sector.

From 2009 to 2014 Stephen served as a non executive director of a French owned international group with whom Lattimer had worked in partnership for many years. In 2022 Stephen led the negotiations for the acquisition of Hunprenco into The Lattimer Group.

In his spare time Stephen has always had an interest in sports cars and occasionally enjoys a long trip around Scotland. He enjoys holidays overseas but also spends as much time as possible in North Wales with the family and can often be seen on the water on board “Rita” cruising around the Llyn Peninsula.

During the Winter months he is likely to enjoy one or two trips to the Alps for some skiing and Vin Chaud!
