New Pressure and Range Tracking System

Lattimer are collecting real time data from its key component parts on key feature characteristics when in manufacture. The image is showing a basic graphical interpretation of the pressure data collected for the broaching of the spline features on our Neckring Mechanism Cylinders. The data allows us to monitor the process regarding the pressure exerted upon each pull, which over time will allow us to make informed decisions on wear and tear of the tooling being used and aid reviews of suspicious hardness in casting parts. It provides traceability to the batches of parts being manufactured, along with evidence of the control and management of the parts during their machining processing. This is the first of many such electronic visual systems to be introduced throughout our key manufacturing areas.
