It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our former Managing Director Mr. Kenneth (Ken) Brady.
Ken started work at Lattimer as an apprentice toolmaker in 1957. He remained at Lattimer for over 40 years progressing through manufacturing engineering, estimating, sales and management. He was a very popular figure and a lifelong member of the Hesketh Golf Club.
Ken was instrumental in the designs of some of Lattimer’s early products in the glass industry such as the Fixed Stroke Pusher and Lattimer Belt Driven Take Out Arm. He travelled the world and made many friends in the industry. His knowledge and experience of metallurgy was often appreciated by engineers in the glass industry looking for solutions to their particular problems.
Ken passed away peacefully aged 82 years. Loving Husband of Barbara, dearly loved Father of Judith, David, and Alastair. Grandfather of Angel, Belanna, Harlo and Sidonie.
Donations to North West Cancer Research will be greatly received in his memory.
