Our New Mazak machine cell is now completed and is in full production. Installation and commissioning were trouble free and both machines entered production on schedule.
The time lapse video above shows the two machines being delivered to site and positioned adjacent to our existing Quick Turn lathes to form a Mazak machining cell.
A full range of parts have been identified for manufacture on these machines and programs and fixtures were ready prior to handover, helping deliver a smooth and trouble free start up.
Senior Team Leader for the area, Glen Willman, is managing this additional capacity to help reduce product lead times, reduce cycle times and deliver to schedule
