Role Model Apprentice

Ed Cherry is one of our 3rd year apprentices who is showing a great desire to learn new technology and manufacturing techniques. He is currently attending college studying BTEC level three and he is also in his first year off his HNC.
At the moment Ed is working in our Dragons Tail Cell manufacturing high tolerance, low volume, and fast turnaround parts. He has been training to programme, set and run our recently purchased MAZAK QT Compact Smooth C 300 MY Lathe. To continue with his development Ed attended a MAZAK programming course at their training centre in Worcester. We are confident this will enhance the skills he has already gained even further as he comes to the final stages of his apprenticeship.
